Capercaillie Lodge is ideally located for Skiing and Snowboarding as the Lecht, Cairngorm and Glenshee Ski Centres are all within 1 hours drive away, and conditions permitting cross country skiing can be undertaken on the tracks and trails around the Lodge.

Lecht 2090 is located only 22 miles south of Capercaillie Lodge and is an ideal place for learning to ski due to the wide gentle lower slopes and the new travelator lift. Lecht 2090 is also ideal for Summer Activities including Deval Karts, Tubing, Quad Bikes and Fun Karts!

Cairngorm Mountain is situated within a 45 minute drive of Capercaillie LodgeSince 1961 Cairngorm has been a major winter sports destination and still offers skiers and boarders some of the best and most challenging runs in Scotland. Added to that, it has the only mountain railway in Scotland which transports skiers up to the higher lying snowfields in total comfort and safety in only a few minutes.

Glenshee Ski Centre is located within an hours drive of Capercaillie LodgeGlenshee's impressive 21 lifts and 36 runs offer an amazing diversity of natural terrain for all standards of skiers and snowboarders.
